The Shooters Golf Tour Scratch Division is a developmental tour that plays the best public courses
in Southeast Michigan. The SGT tournaments are formatted and designed to offer
a fair, but challenging test of golf. Starting every April, the SGT Scratch Division plays
10 events in various cities culminating with the crowning of the SGT Points Champion
after the season ending Tour Championship. Scratch Division players will compete in tournaments without handicaps. Players are competing for
the tournament win by shooting the lowest gross score in the field. To be eligible to compete in the Scratch Division, a player must
have a verifiable handicap of 9.9 or lower.
The SGT is the only golf tour in Michigan with a real-time leaderboard
at every tournament. Every foursome is able to see how they stack up
against their competitors during and after the round. Friends and family
also have the opportunity to follow your progress from home while you compete
via the link to the live results from our website.

SGT Scratch Division membership fees:
New members: 2009 fee will be posted once the 2009 schedule has been set.
Returning members: 2009 fee will be posted once the 2009 schedule has been set.
Partial Season Membership: 2009 fee will be posted once the 2009 schedule has been set.
Partial season members are only allowed to play up to 5 tournaments on the schedule. If a player has played the
alloted 5 tournaments and wishes to continue competing they will have to pay the remainder of the full membership fee.
